TITLE: Training and Development- Locum Staffing
REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President
FLSA STATUS: Full-Time; Exempt
SUMMARY
This key position will be responsible for developing and executing learning strategies across the organization. This role will create training content per department needs while assessing learning effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a learning strategy and program that are aligned with the organization’s objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customized programs that align with business objectives.
- Schedule training, track attendance, and keep record of any test requirements.
- Deploy different kinds of learning methods companywide; mentor program, job shadowing; and online resources.
- Assess the success of the training plans and modify them where necessary.
- Responsible for scheduling and facilitating all onboarding classes to ensure a seamless start for new hires.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years’ experience of working as a L&D Manager, Training Manager or relevant position.
- 2+ previous Locum Tenens healthcare staffing or relevant experience preferred.
- 2+ years of sales and/or agency recruiting experience.
- Significant experience with effective learning and development methods.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective learning and development programs that contribute to organizational success.
- Strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward achieving common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
