JOB SUMMARY
As Training and Development Lead, you are responsible for facilitating the delivery and evaluation of learning events that result in employee growth and development. In addition, you will consult on organizational development program initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for learning and delivering existing programs as well as designing, developing, and delivering additional training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. This position will be responsible for managing logistics and leading on-site training events, supporting the development of internal training programs, administering internal and external developmental programs, and conducting training sessions.
JOB DUTIES
- Establish and manage logistical requirements to implement learning and development programs.
- Facilitate training sessions using various methods, including in-person workshops, video, eLearning, and virtual training platforms.
- Ensure that training sessions are dynamic, engaging, and tailored to meet the diverse learning styles of participants.
- Work closely with HR partners and department leaders to understand ongoing organizational changes and align training initiatives accordingly.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of training programs.
- Manage leadership development programs, including competency models, assessments, and coaching.
- Design engaging and interactive learning materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and training manuals.
- Manage learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Conduct training needs assessments, including conferring with management and staff, to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps and training objectives.
- Participate in the identification, evaluation and management of external training to ensure it meets development program needs and requirements.
- Utilize adult learning theory and instructional design to operationalize and deploy scalable development solutions that drive desired outcomes and culture.
- Support organizational development initiatives as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8 years of experience required with adult training and/or Professional Development Instruction, delivering instructor-led coursework in person, and instructional design. Or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required.
- Five years of experience required in leadership development, coaching, and delivering eLearning courses.
- Three years of experience required in delivering instructor-led coursework virtually, and organizational consulting.
- Prefer experience with LMS and e learning platforms.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree: Education, Communication, Training and Development, Instructional/Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, Business Administration or related field (Required)
- Preferred master’s degree in Management, Training and Development, Adult Education or equivalent.
WORK LOCATION – Taylor, TX:
- Employees will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at minimum 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management
- On-site schedules are flexible or may be rotated based on business needs as determined by the Manager
- Remote work is required to be performed from your Texas residence.
- Employees may opt to work on-site more than required or 100% of the time
