Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our production team as Trainee Specialist Operatives in the Weigh and Mix department at our Heanor site. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately weigh ingredients according to product specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in each batch.
- Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients as per production requirements.
- Follow recipes and production guidelines, maintaining strict adherence to safety and hygiene regulations.
- Perform quality checks throughout the weighing and mixing process to ensure compliance with Valeo Foods’ high standards.
- Work closely with other team members to meet production schedules and targets.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Food and Safety Level 2
- Health and Safety Level 2
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- A proactive attitude and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic numeracy skills and the ability to work with measurements.

Shift Monday-Friday 07:30am-15:30pm
Salary £23,342.48 per annum
