The role: Trainee Sales Advisor
We recruit for potential and not industry experience, we are seeking individuals who aspire to be leading contributors to our business and who can embrace the opportunity to complete our fully funded training programme and attain chartered insurance qualifications.
As part of our new Sales team, you’ll be responsible for generating sales leads via the telephone to generating information and support our ongoing sales campaigns.

We will rely on you to:
Provide excellent client service on all aspects of account management to our clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards
Ensure timely completion of all set tasks always ensuring client satisfaction
Demonstrate your adaptability skills when required in order to support colleagues in completing business critical tasks
Manage quotation requests from prospective clients
Share product and services information with clients when requested
Review sales data to identify sales effectiveness
Respond to queries via email & telephone
Through training, coaching and mentoring have a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance that we offer our clients and keep abreast of new technical and product developments
What you need to have:
Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence on the phone
A Willingness to learn
A willingness to make a high-volume number of outbound sales calls
To be punctual – having good time management is key to being successful in this role
Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills that can be demonstrated via qualifications/grades gained during education
Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
Have experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products

Previous experience within a client/customer facing role, this can be gained from within a similar role or working in environments such as (but not limited to) retail, hospitality, food & beverage etc,
A thirst for learning and the opportunity to study for further insurance related qualifications
