We are recruiting for two Graduate Research Executives to join our team based in South Africa!
This opportunity will introduce you to the dynamic world of Consumer Market Research and set you up for an incredibly exciting and dynamic career working with the world’s most famous brands.
Please note: one of these roles will be supporting our team in South Africa, whilst the other will be supporting our team in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Helping with project setup, including briefing documents, script checking, quota monitoring, in field presence (when necessary and feasible), and some general admin tasks.
- Liaising with the field team, from project set up to field completion-briefing, during field, protocol and process alignment, quota discussions, product sourcing assistance.
- Helping brief fieldwork agencies for face-to-face research as well as designing the questionnaire or discussion guides, against the clients objectives.
- Analysing data to reveal the story, and then helping to turn this in to insightful and engaging reports.
- Develop skills in client relationship and management, presentation and business development.
- Start getting involved in proposal discussions, with clients and our internal teams as well as assisting with drafting elements of the proposal.
- Researching secondary data to provide commercial and category context for proposals and reports… or scouting the stores or media for relevant nuggets to enhance our learnings.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Have a university degree.
- Are enthusiastic with a can-do attitude, are naturally curious and have great communication skills (fluent written and spoken English).
- Are proactive and forward thinking.
- Easily able to build relationships and relish working in a team environment. This is not for a lone-worker as you need to be happy developing and growing as part of a team.
- Are nimble and have the ability to be flexible, and to reprioritise tasks based on client requests or shifts in deadlines.
- Keen to learn more about AI and how it can be used in market research.
- Good attention to detail.
- The most important consideration is enthusiasm, interest and passion for people and a strong interest in food and products that you can find in your local supermarket!
