About the role:
As a Trainee Vintage Product Assessor, you will be a motivated and flexible team member, learning and supporting the various functions within the Marketplace Department. You will work alongside experienced assessors across a wide range of vintage products, assisting Production Managers with the initial sorting, grouping, and preparation of items for listing on the most suitable platform. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the sorting, grouping, and initial categorisation of various vintage products, learning to identify the most suitable selling platforms.
- Work closely with departmental managers and senior team members to support the achievement of KPI targets, maintaining a supportive team atmosphere.
- Assist in writing detailed, precise product listings under supervision, ensuring they meet platform and departmental standards.
- Demonstrate developing IT and administrative skills, learn to type efficiently, and communicate effectively in writing across various listing platforms.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A demonstrable interest or passion for vintage and antique items, such as jewellery, watches, or other collectibles.
- The aptitude and willingness to learn to work productively and accurately when performing regular tasks, maintaining a high standard.
- Basic competency with IT and online tools, and a strong desire to learn how to create listings and maintain records on online platforms.
