We are looking for a Trainee Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing team and build a career in Analytics and Commercial Pricing.

This is an exciting development opportunity where no previous pricing experience is required. If you enjoy working with data, solving problems and understanding how commercial decisions are made, this role will provide the opportunity to develop valuable, transferable analytical and commercial skills. Depending on your experience, there is also the opportunity to join as a Support Pricing Analyst.

Pricing sits at the centre of our commercial operation, working collaboratively across the business to optimise margins, improve our customer offering and support informed decision-making. You'll join a high-profile team with excellent visibility across senior leadership, providing a strong platform for future career development.

Your core responsibilities
  • Support the testing of pricing and system changes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve pricing queries, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Gather, validate and combine data from multiple systems to support commercial decision-making.
  • Produce regular reports and analysis for business stakeholders.
  • Analyse pricing and commercial data to identify trends and opportunities as your experience develops.
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Translate pricing and financial data into clear commercial actions.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Operations, Sales, Customer Services, Finance and Business Intelligence.
  • Develop knowledge of modern analytical tools including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Excel, Python, R and SQL.
  • Support pricing initiatives that improve profitability and enhance commercial performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the Pricing function.
