The Role

During your trainee programme, you will gradually take on responsibility for technical project and order processing.

Your tasks will include:

  • Management of complex technical customer orders: Planning, coordination and monitoring of projects from order receipt to delivery of machines and systems.
  • Customer support at home and abroad: Regular communication with our national and international customers to coordinate technical requirements, project progress and to ensure customer satisfaction. Occasional customer visits on site to coordinate projects are possible.
  • Interface management: Close cooperation with sales, design, production, purchasing, planning and logistics to ensure that the project runs smoothly. They coordinate the parties involved and ensure that all technical information is passed on completely and correctly.
  • Deadline and quality control: Monitoring project milestones, deadlines and budgets and ensuring compliance with our quality standards. In the event of deviations, you will intervene and work out solutions in coordination with the team.
  • Documentation and process optimization: Creation and maintenance of all project-related documents (e.g. project plans, status reports) as well as participation in the continuous improvement of processes in order processing and project management, taking into account lean manufacturing tools.

During the trainee program, you will pass through various stations within the department and related areas (e.g. planning, design, etc.). This will give you a holistic understanding of our business and technical processes. For example, they get to know the workflows in production, accompany experienced project managers to customer meetings and participate in cross-departmental projects.

In addition:

  • Collaboration on exciting and challenging interdisciplinary projects
  • Foreign assignment at one of our locations in the EMA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) or NA (North America) region
  • Participation in additional qualification measures (product training, Six Sigma Green Belt Training, Lean Training, etc.)
  • Continuous support from a personal mentor

Your qualifications:

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, economics or comparable
  • First professional experience in a production company and international experience
  • Initial experience and knowledge in technical project management
  • Strong affinity for technical topics and processes in mechanical and plant engineering. Basic knowledge of project management or initial experience in project work is an advantage.
  • Very high degree of self-discipline, ability to coordinate complex processes, keep an eye on deadlines and set priorities
  • Hands-on mentality in the processing and implementation of projects
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office programs, MS project, as well as initial programming skills desirable
  • Commitment, high resilience, flexibility
  • High degree of communication skills and customer orientation, enthusiasm and a high degree of social competence
