The Trainee Design Engineer will support the Product Design and Engineering team in developing, modifying, and improving products, machine components, tooling, and manufacturing solutions
Your Tasks
- The role involves creating detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, reverse engineering activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions while ensuring manufacturability, quality, and safety standards.
- CAD & Design Software knowledge with any of these skills – AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge, CATIA V5, SolidWorks (Basic) , Siemens NX (Basic)
- Engineering drawing interpretation and GD&T basics
- Mechanical design fundamentals with basic design calculations
- Manufacturing processes, machining basics and product development lifecycle understanding
Systems & Software: (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- SAP (Basic Knowledge Preferred)
