Join us as Traffic Management Operative in Gisborne

We’re looking for an experienced Traffic Management Operative to join or team in Gisborne.

Each day brings exciting new challenges as you’ll be setting up and overseeing traffic management sites under the expert direction of the STMS. From planned maintenance jobs to responding quickly to traffic emergencies and natural disasters, no two days are alike. You’ll also play a key role in the safe and smooth running of major city events, like concerts and marathons, ensuring everything goes off without a hitch.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Work off the back of a truck setting up signs and placing cones in accordance with COPTTM

  • Maintain road closures and guide traffic and pedestrians through work sites.

  • Assist the STMS with various duties throughout the shift

We’re looking for someone with:

  • TMO NP Qualification

  • Experience in the traffic management industry

  • Up to date knowledge of COPTTM

  • Full class 1 licence
