Primary duties include: dispatching carrier trucks, scheduling, routing drivers, covering back-hauls, and discussing delivery services with customers. Resolve transportation problems with urgency and professionalism.
What You Need To Know:
• Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity
• Trace, track and expedite purchase processes
• Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Interact with third party logistics service providers
• Audit freight cost and documentation
• Ensure accuracy of all inventories
• Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order
• Review bills, invoices and purchase orders
• Ensure all payments are processed in time
• Assist customers with inquiries
• Create packing lists and update shipment information in database
• Organize files both manually and electronically
• Monitor and facilitate repair orders
• Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items
• Ensure that the warehouse has sufficient space for incoming deliveries
• Ensure that all items are properly numbered and tagged
• Reconcile hand receipts
What We Are Looking For:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School degree minimum with 1-3 years related experience is required.
- Associates degree in Business preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Good oral / written communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills are required.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Basic to Intermediate personal computer skills, to include but not limited to: MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, and Access) are required.
- A demonstrated willingness for continual learning and skill development is required.
- Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and weekends as needed is required.
