TRAFFIC COORDINATOR

Job Summary

This position is responsible for tracking and tracing outbound and inbound shipments to and from Domestic FK facilities and FK Distribution Centers. The incumbent is responsible for utilizing TMS (Transportation Management System), processing freight claims, ensuring on-time pick-ups and deliveries, and coordinating with carriers. The incumbent works closely with warehouse personnel and freight carriers on day-to-day operations. The coordinator works alongside customer service daily regarding any service, claim, or load status update needed. This position reports to the Manager of logistics and has no direct reports.

Responsibilities

1)    Track and Trace inbound and outbound shipments in transit.

2)    Coordinate pick ups and deliveries with carriers.

3)    Manage freight claim process; this includes filing initial claim, follow-up, and collection.

4)    Support customer service regarding services issues with finished goods.

5)    Research imports with import broker to ensure that releases are timely.

6)    Utilize TMS (Transportation Management System) to maintain shipment data and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

7)    Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of ERP systems – SAP preferably
• Good Communications skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft office products
• Knowledge of TMS systems
• Basic transportation skills
• Highly Organized

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
