Hours: Average 37.33pw - Working to a seasonal rota/shift system which includes evenings, bank holidays & weekend working

What will you be doing?
Safely controlling Veolia, third-party waste collection authority and commercial vehicles access into and out of both Tipping Hall areas on Site
Issue instructions to drivers of vehicles entering and leaving site/tipping halls
Provide support to the leadership team, Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) team and Waste Transfer Station (WTS) team
Housekeeping and light maintenance (cleaning, litter picking, painting, etc.) of the Tipping Halls and external areas of the site
Provide cover during breaks to assist the site operations, particularly in Traffic Control, Weighbridge and Mobile Plant roles (subject to training provided)
Completing daily site inspections and reporting defects/issues as required
Completing the daily site fire watch before the site closes each day.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience within a similar operational role / busy manual handling type of experience
Good IT skills (word processing, spreadsheets)
Desirable:
Experience operating Mobile Plant (loading shovels, excavators, forklifts)
Weighbridge experience
