Trading Voice Engineer (f/m/x)

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Part of the CTO - End User Computing Division, the Real Time Communications (RTC) Team provide platforms and expert services to all Deutsche Bank Employees. Platforms include Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Movius, Symphony, Eikon Messenger, Zoom, Room Meeting Systems, Compliance Capture, Room Conferencing, Avaya Telephony and Trading Voice.

As a Product Engineer for Real Time Communication platforms, you will be a member of our IPC Unigy and Cloud 9 trading voice platforms where you will be building reusable, fit for purpose communication solutions.

Responsibilities

• Employ a range of techniques to analyze problems and evaluate multiple solutions following engineering, business & strategic criteria.
• Design solutions using common design patterns and conduct peer reviews to ensure designs are fit for purpose, extensible & re-usable.
• Deliver end to end first-class engineering solutions across a range of technology platforms.
• Ensure stable and reliable production environments and high-quality user experience to customers.
• Ensuring adherence to the SDLC process and other company demanded engineering and release management practices.

Skills

• Solid understanding of Real Time Communication systems and infrastructure such as Telephony, Unified Communications and Compliance Recording.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure and platform components included but not limited to:
  • Unix / Linux / Windows Server Systems and Desktops 
  • LAN, WAN, QoS and Data Networks
  • MSSQL Database
  • PowerShell Scripting
• Understanding and experience on Azure & Microsoft 365.
• Experience with tooling across the SDLC:
  • JIRA, ServiceNow
  • Confluence, Artifactory
• Analytical thinking and experience in a range of problem-solving techniques & approaches.
