​About this Opportunity: 

As a Trading Product Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing clients and client support staff by implementing and using the Orion system to improve trade execution. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us. 

Location:

It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations.

Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

In this role, you’ll get to:  ​​ 

  • Assist in taking inbound calls / chats daily to help train and answer questions clients may have on the Orion trading platform

  • Assist with additional training needs by participating in Home Office Visits, travel to client offices, and attend conferences such as Ascent

  • Quickly identify trading system issues and partner with programming and trading leadership and deliver a resolution to clients

  • Demonstrate the ability to be an advocate for clients by receiving feedback and providing system enhancement suggestions through Jira

  • Support multiple Orion Trading Functionalities and platforms – Including but not limited to TOM, Eclipse, Portfolio View Trading, Orion Custom Indexing, Sleeve trading, and Compare Tool

  • Maintain expected service levels and high-quality engagements as measured by Glia, cases, and NPS surveys

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients, providing support across business functions as needed

  • Cross-train and adapt to meet evolving business needs

We’re looking for talent who:  

  • Has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field as preferred

  • Has minimum of one (1) year of experience in the financial services industry or prior/current employment with Orion as required

  • Has prior experience in a trading-related role for an investment advisor as preferred

  • Has knowledge of industry rules and regulations pertaining to various security instruments and markets

  • Has knowledge and understanding of anti-money laundering rules and procedures required to maintain compliance

  • Has ability to quickly learn new and utilize multiple internal/external trading systems and platforms

  • Has ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail in a time sensitive environment

  • Speaks effectively before groups of customers or employees, as well as conduct effective presentations

  • Acts as a liaison between the client and internal development groups

  • Has strong skills in effective oral, written, interpersonal and listening, including the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel

  • Has ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail

  • Works effectively both individually and within a team environment

  • Works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities. 

  • Has proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. 

  • Has effective written, listening and verbal communication skills. 

  • Has effective problem solving and organizational skills

  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$23.57 - $34.20

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
