Garda is looking for a Trading Intern to join the team in Singapore for a 3-month internship during Summer 2026. In the course of the internship, you will be exposed to the analytics used in trading, working closely with a mentor who will provide guidance and feedback.
Position Responsibilities
- Support portfolio managers by improving trading and risk spreadsheets and systems
- Assist in the development of screeners and trading signals to complement investment decisions
- Support the team’s research process, including data collection and analysis, prototyping, backtesting, and performance monitoring
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in statistics, financial engineering, applied math, finance, computer science, or similar quantitative or technical discipline
- Exceptional quantitative & programming skills (Python & SQL)
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time-sensitive team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented nature with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Intellectual curiosity and motivation to innovate and improve
Monthly compensation for this role is expected to be 10,000 SGD
