WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Trading Expert I you will be helping with the operational liquidity management, liquid asset buffer optimization and intraday liquidity management of Banco Santander in the SCIB Markets Funding Hub Team
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Quoting and managing short-term client deposits
Trading short-term products (FX Swaps, deposits, bills and repo) to manage nostro accounts and optimizing excess liquidity
Managing intraday liquidity
Participating in projects with high impact in the liquidity management
Driving the digital agenda of the liquidity business including:
Implementing advanced analytics to enhance liquidity forecasting and decision-making
Developing and integrating blockchain-based solutions to enhance customer experience and optimize operational processes
Automating liquidity management processes using machine learning algorithms
Collaborating with fintech partners to innovate and expand digital liquidity solutions
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10 years in liquidity management related positions
Team management experience is a plus
EDUCATION
Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar
Master’s in quantitative finance and/or data science is a plus
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Programming skills: Python, VBA or similar
Languages:
English – Proficient level required
Spanish – Proficient level required
Fluency in other languages is a plus
Team player with strong communicating skills
