Since its founding in 2017, Prometheum has leveraged its deep expertise in securities law, blockchain and trading to create a compliant ecosystem for digital asset securities that enables all investors to seamlessly invest in digital assets securities. Prometheum has relied on its strong diverse team to build the required tools to service digital asset securities. To date, Prometheum has built multiple digital asset security broker-dealers traversing novel areas and a large technology stack (intersecting trading, blockchain, compliance, etc.). Role:- 
Trading Desk Manager – Digital Assets - Full Time W2
Location:-
New York City, NY
Salary:-
$175,000 - $225,000
 

Responsibilities:-

• Oversee the order desk function for digital assets  including policies, procedures, and operational workflows.

• Oversee the intake and processing of order flow from l broker-dealer correspondents and their clients

• Review and analyze correspondent transactions via a sponsored access model.

• Review and analyze  trading limits, cash and positions held at different liquidity venues. 

• Ensure efficient handling of execution, settlement, and reporting of customer orders in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Develop systems and processes to support order internalization and agency/riskless principal transactions.

• Provide assistance with trade reporting and the issuance of customer confirmation. 

• Collaborate with internal technology, compliance, and operations teams to integrate digital asset trading capabilities with traditional brokerage infrastructure.

• Partner with the business development team to cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional clients and counterparties, acting as a visible ambassador for the firm to generate business and increase market share.

• Monitor daily order flow and trade execution quality to ensure best execution standards are maintained and there is minimal spread impact for large-volume transactions.

• Provide leadership, training, and oversight to the order desk team as the function scales.

• Serve as a key liaison with correspondents and internal departments to address operational or trade-related inquiries.

Qualifications:-

• 7+ years of experience in an order desk, trading operations, or trade support role within a broker-dealer or trading firm.

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, clearing and settlement, and custody processes.

• Experience with and knowledge of different securities asset classes..

• The ability to make quick, high-stakes decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic market environment.

• Experience managing or supervising operational teams.

• Knowledge of digital asset securities or blockchain-based trading systems is a plus.

• FINRA Series 7 and 57 licenses required.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
