THE ROLE: We are looking for a Trading Analyst to join our Options Market Making business. The eligible candidate will be responsible for supporting the trading desks in scripting jobs, trading data analysis and operational tasks. High performance in this role can lead to a market making role within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day-to-day responsibility for scripts that support the trading activity
- Working with traders to design and improve trading strategies through data analysis, prototyping as well as collaboration with developers
- Proactively supporting operational tasks on the trading desks
- To comply with all applicable Compliance policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS:
- Strong Python and Excel skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to demonstrate wider interest in financial markets
- Outstanding numerical and analytical skills
- Proactive interest in improving existing trading strategies and identifying new opportunities
- Ability to take a high level of responsibility in an expanding, highly successful firm
