Position Summary:

Hiring Salary Range:  $18.58 to $20.43 per hour D.O.Q

As a Trades worker, the individual will undertake responsibilities such as painting, plumbing repairs, door and ceiling tile replacement, drywall patching, ceramic tile replacement, and baseboard repair. They will play a vital role in maintaining the campus facilities, ensuring they are well-kept and conducive to learning.

Job Duties:

· Conduct minor indoor and outdoor painting tasks.

· Perform plumbing repairs and replace fixtures as needed.

· Install interior and exterior doors and door frames.

· Replace ceiling tiles and ensure proper installation.

· Patch and hang drywall, maintaining structural integrity.

· Order and replace broken or missing ceramic tiles.

· Repair holes in existing walls with precision and care.

· Replace baseboards, ensuring a polished finish.

· Collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.

· Demonstrate strong communication skills for effective problem-solving.

· Pay meticulous attention to detail in all maintenance tasks.

· Ability to perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

 The position requires at least vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship beyond High School or GED and at least two years of prior-related work experience. Substitution of at least one additional year of prior-related work experience is permitted for the vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship.
