POSITION OVERVIEW 

We are looking for an engaging tradeshow manager to our tradeshow presence. In this role, you will help plan logistics for tradeshows, liaise with vendors and guests, and oversee the project. You will also work collaboratively on marketing campaigns and messaging strategies. 


JOB SCOPE 

  • Collaborating with the marketing team and organizers to fulfill the event requirements. 
  • Researching and presenting concepts and ideas to the organizers and sponsors for feedback, including physical presence and content appropriate to audience. 
  • Preparing, presenting, and managing budgets and negotiating contracts. 
  • Liaising with vendors to determine and fulfill booth requirements. 
  • Managing the registration of participating staff and speakers. 
  • Collaborate to arrange travel and accommodation logistics, administration, and bookings. 
  • Assist in promotions through marketing channels such as social media, emailers, and advertising campaigns. 
  • Coordinating the logistical requirements such as giveaways, security, equipment rentals, and catering services. 
  • Running the floor to ensure the event operates smoothly. 
  • Ensuring that all health and safety standards are adhered to during the event. 
  • Ensuring leads captured are imported for sales follow-up in a timely manner. 
  • Assist with co-located promotions, media, events, and customer receptions as appropriate. 
  • Evaluate tradeshow success and submit reports. 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of managing small to large scale trade shows for small to medium sized organizations
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred
  • Demonstrate outstanding time management and organizational skills with a consistent track record of success in planning, managing, and executing multiple events simultaneously
  • Highly organized, analytical, excels at managing and influencing broad stakeholder groups, and adept at synthesizing a variety of inputs into a successful event
  • Experienced in managing budgets
  • Experienced in vendor management
  • Experience in managing virtual, in person and/or hybrid events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic and proactive thinker

  • Job will generally be performed in an office environment but may require travel to visit company offices and/or property locations.

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
