We are on the hunt for Trades Assistants to join our teams in our Brisbane workshop. These are Permanent, Monday to Friday roles.
As a Trades Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Operation of Overhead Crane and Forklift operations
• Loading and unloading of machines
• Assisting Trade Qualified Personnel with repairs and rebuilds of equipment.
• Provide support for day-to-day operational activities within the department..
• General yard duties, upkeep of facilities with general repairs
• Maintain up to date data and detailing key and relevant information as required.
• Adhering to a high level of workplace health and safety standards as per Hastings Deering safety policies and procedures.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:

• Previous experience in a similar Trade Assistant role working in mechanical workshop environment.
• Maintain a high level of workplace health and safety standards.
• Ensure the compliance of quality and contamination control.
• Demonstrated experience or an eagerness to learn will be highly beneficial.
• Time management, reliable and consistent and organisation skills
• The ability to work as part of a team and take direction
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of workplace health and safety standards.
