This is a fantastic opportunity to join our FX Middle Office team, providing direct Trade & Sales support to the FX Cash Trading & Sales desks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where resilience and a strong, controlled mindset are essential for responding to market events and volatility.
As a Trade & Marketing Support - Senior Associate in the FX Middle Office team, you'll be learning to support one of the largest FX Trading operations in the industry. Managing queries, core controls and dealing with real time trading risk issues and operational projects
Job responsibilities
- Manage real time trade breaks in a very high trade volume environment
- Coordinate between front and back offices to resolve issues and seamlessly support the business
- Perform numerous real time control checks to verify trade booking accuracy
- Produce management statistics
- Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
- A willingness to learn and understand our processes, products and systems
- Process flow understanding, including ability to understand current flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlined
- Previous experience in Finance industry (operations roles)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines as part of a high performing team
