As a Vice President – Trade Support & Reference Data (Execution Middle Office) within T/CIO Execution Middle Office (ExMO), you will lead regional EMEA delivery from Mumbai and serve as the primary Front Office engagement point across EMEA locations. You will own day-to-day execution discipline, exception and incident management, and control effectiveness across trade support and reference data. You will drive continuous process improvement and change delivery to improve accuracy, timeliness, and auditability of processing and reporting.
Job Responsibilities- Lead daily Middle Office delivery across the trade lifecycle, including EOD blotter production, trade checkout, control checks, and lifecycle event management.
- Monitor and manage system exception queues, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and appropriate escalation.
- Investigate and resolve Nostro and custody breaks for Securities and Money Market products through coordinated action with internal teams and external parties where applicable.
- Perform and evidence regulatory reporting checks and operational controls, addressing exceptions within required timelines.
- Produce and publish MIS/KPI reporting, providing clear visibility of volumes, exceptions, risks, and aged items to stakeholders and management.
- Run incident management routines by triaging issues, identifying root cause, tracking actions to closure, and communicating status to stakeholders.
- Oversee governance and execution of reference/static data setup and maintenance (counterparty static data excluding KYC, book and legal entity mappings, and SSIs where applicable).
- Maintain data quality controls through periodic reviews/attestations, exception management, and control evidence retention.
- Drive resolution of reference data defects impacting confirmations, settlements, P&L, risk, and regulatory reporting in partnership with Reference Data and Technology teams.
- Define reference data requirements for new business flows, validate upstream/downstream impacts, and ensure operational readiness prior to go-live.
- Develop and maintain procedures for BAU processes, controls, escalation paths, and coverage; build resilience through cross-training and capacity planning.
- Demonstrate 10+ years of Middle Office/Trade Support experience with leadership and delivery accountability.
- Exhibit strong product knowledge across Fixed Income, Money Markets, Repos, FX, and Interest Rate Swaps.
- Apply deep understanding of the transaction lifecycle and associated operational and financial controls.
- Maintain working knowledge of reference data domains (counterparty static data excluding KYC, SSIs, and books/legal entities) and downstream impacts.
- Manage high volumes of ad hoc requests by prioritizing under pressure and delivering to tight timelines.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with presence to engage senior management and auditors.
- Lead teams effectively through coaching, engagement, and performance management.
- Apply working knowledge of key regulatory control expectations and reporting controls relevant to trade support activities.
- Demonstrate strong audit management skills, including evidence delivery, issue remediation tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
