As a Trading Services Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of trade activities, from order entry to settlement. While still developing, your expertise in market products and understanding of automation technologies will be instrumental in optimizing our trading services. You will be expected to leverage your proficiency in change management and continuous improvement to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform Your role will also allow you to keep developing your relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting insights to senior management, and driving process improvements. Job responsibilities
- Validate and process credit derivatives trades across single-name CDS, index CDS (CDX/iTraxx), tranches/bespoke baskets, credit options, credit-linked notes, and total return swaps.
- Book trades accurately in front office platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Calypso, Markit Wire) and reconcile positions with back office records.
- Review and resolve trade discrepancies, mismatches, and breaks between front office and back office systems.
- Manage lifecycle events including credit events, novations/assignments, coupons/roll dates/maturities, and amendments/terminations/cancellations.
- Coordinate with trading, legal, and operations to ensure correct settlement, documentation, and system updates for lifecycle activity.
- Oversee electronic and manual confirmations via Markit Wire, DTCC, and ICE to ensure process integrity.
- Drive timely confirmation matching and escalate aged/outstanding items to traders and counterparties.
- Support daily risk and P&L reporting for credit derivatives portfolios.
- Attribute P&L to market moves, new trades, lifecycle events, and valuation adjustments while resolving risk/P&L breaks.
- Ensure compliance with Dodd-Frank, EMIR, CFTC, and MiFID II requirements by supporting regulatory reporting, inquiries, and internal limits/controls.
- Improve control, efficiency, and automation by partnering with stakeholders and contributing SME input to new products, system upgrades, and regulatory change initiatives.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in credit derivatives, exotics, or related middle office roles
- Strong understanding of credit derivatives products, trade lifecycle, and operational processes
- Experience with front and back office systems (Bloomberg, Calypso, Markit Wire, DTCC, ICE)
- In-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements for derivatives
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive process improvements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
