Trade Support Analyst

Help clients navigate complex credit derivatives activity with confidence and clarity. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate trade processing and strong risk and control practices across the trade lifecycle. Partnering closely with sales, operations, technology, and external parties, you will help deliver a reliable client experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement, and accountability for high-quality outcomes.

As a Trade Support Analyst in Credit Derivatives Client Services, you will provide critical trade lifecycle support for clients trading credit default swap products. You will help ensure trades are accurately captured, reconciled, and progressed through processing milestones, while responding to client and internal queries with a focus on quality, timeliness, and risk awareness. You will collaborate with partners across operations, technology, reference data, external custodians, and client contacts to resolve issues and improve processes.

Job responsibilities

• Book and allocate trades accurately and on time to support the trade lifecycle.
• Respond to client queries and provide clear, timely updates through resolution.
• Perform control reconciliations to validate positions and processing accuracy across systems and teams.
• Investigate exceptions raised by settlements and confirmations partners and drive solutions through to closure.
• Support operational projects and ad hoc initiatives, including process enhancements and new system implementations.

• Process flow understanding, including ability to understand process flows and linkages between systems and identify opportunities to improve or streamline processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy to reduce financial risk and support strong client relationships.
• Flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload while maintaining awareness of risk and control issues.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver successful outcomes.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Previous experience in the finance industry.
• Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
