The CI Investment Services Inc (CIIS) Trade Support Analyst is responsible for the handling of mutual fund trading for the CIIS trade desk. Reporting to the VP, Trading, the Trade Support Analyst is responsible for supporting trade desk daily activities including the allocation of trades, handling mutual fund rejections and handling of client inquiries.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Processing of mutual fund trades files and follow up on rejected trades
  • Handling of transaction corrections and preparation of LOI’s when required
  • Resolving trade related inquiries in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to resolve trade related issues
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects relevant to the position shall be assigned as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 1-2 years experience in the financial industry, preferably experience with mutual funds
  • Canadian Investment Funds Operations course (CIFOC) or CSC course considered an asset
  • Proficiency with Excel and experience using Fundserv and CANNEX would be an asset
  • Proven analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills, conflict resolution skills, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self motivated but with desire to work as part of a highly cohesive team.

This role follows our inoffice work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $42,500 to $71,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. In addition, The Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
