The Trade Marketing Specialist (TMS) supports and executes initiatives in accordance with the Trade Marketing calendar and wider organisational priorities. The TMS is also responsible for the development and effective management of the coolers and everyday POS suite, ensuring the field team have the right tools to look like #1 in-store.

Job Description

TRADE MARKETING CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT, EXECUTION & MANAGEMENT

  • Lead, plan and execute trade marketing campaigns working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Brief and manage external partners (graphic designers and print agencies) ensuring all execution is to premium standard and to brand guidelines.
  • Work with the Field Team to ensure the Strikers have all tools required to successfully execute trade marketing activity.
  • Facilitation of large customer POS rollouts, involving close collaboration with National Account Managers (NAMs) and external stakeholders.
  • Execute all trade marketing campaigns on time and within budget.

LEAD THE DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION OF EXTERNAL VISIBILITY REQUESTS

  • Manage all external visibility requests, ensuring opportunities align to established criteria and business priorities.
  • Develop executional guidelines for all external visibility tools.
  • Ensure all external visibility jobs are executed to a premium standard and within budget, providing regular updates to the Trade Marketing Manager (TMM).

BE WELL VERSED IN RED BULL COOLERS & POINT OF SALE MARKETING (POSM)

  • Have a good understanding of our coolers, visibility, temporary & permanent POSM suites, understanding the different models currently available and what’s in development and relevant to the Australian market.
  • Consider what tools are currently available for placement when planning POS suites, ensuring tools are suited to the nature of the campaign.
  • Assist with fulfilling POS and Coolers movement and service requests when required.

COORDINATION & COMMUNICATION OF SALES & MARKETING ACTIVITIES

  • Coordination and maintenance of WingTips, through working closely with field and category teams to ensure that all our selling tools are up to date and as visually strong as possible.
  • Share key trade marketing priorities for the trimester with the field team during mission planning meetings.
  • Assist the TMM with the running of the Go-To Market (GTM) meetings as well as regular maintenance of the GTM calendar, liaising with NAMs to confirm customer activity/timelines and sharing best practice executions from the field team.

MANAGEMENT OF GRAPHIC DESIGN RESOURCES

  • Be the primary contact for graphic design briefs, assisting with management of workload and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications such as Marketing Degree preferred
  • 1 -2 years' experience in FMCG sales or trade/brand marketing preferred
  • Previous experience creating brand-specific POS, merchandising and visibility tools.
  • Strong understanding on how trade tools are utilised to increase brand visibility and sales.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including presentation and training skills.
