Position: Trade Marketing Manager | Full Time | Permanent Contract
General Job Mission:
Lead the development and communication of Trade Marketing and Merchandising strategies for DC and PC brands in the Points of Sales to reinforce our positions as captain categories, increase sales and profitability.
In close collaboration with the Marketing and commercial team, under the Retail activation Manager, define and run customer activation plans to drive the sellout and maximize the Market Share.
Main Duties:
Trade marketing activation:
- Participate in the definition of local trade marketing strategy, action plan and budget.
- Ensure the respect of brand image, merchandising and communication tools.
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies in line with company’s overall marketing and sales objectives.
- Collaborate with an agency to adapt effectively content and visuals. Be responsible for production of trade marketing materials in time. Coordinate and allocate trade material tools to field teams. Organize meetings, prepare presentations, analyze the performance based on selected KPIs for trade marketing activity and present them.
- Prepare presentations and if necessary, participate with the Sales Department in negotiations for trade marketing campaigns. Identify opportunities to create additional values for POS.
- Monitor the expenses allocated to the trade marketing budget. Lead the follow up on the return on investment (ROI) of the action undertaken, establish potential corrective action and define new orientations.
Planograms
- Adapt the corporate planograms according to the specificities of the Greek market, if necessary, with the help of the respective marketing and sales department, and update them regularly.
- Share them inside of the company and ensure that they are applied.
Other tasks
- Identify opportunities for the development of our clients and provide feedback on local market needs.
- Increase the category management awareness within the affiliate by training and presentations. Collect and share best practices from trade marketing and if necessary, share them with other countries.
- Ensure competitive intelligence. Collect and share information about our main competitors with marketing and commercial teams related to trade marketing activities.
Training level and experiences:
- Bachelor's degree or professional experience in a similar function for at least 3 years in the cosmetic industry
- English fluent
- Expertise in Excel & PPT (Microsoft Office tools)
Previous positions ideally:
- Sales representative
- Brand manager
- Merchandiser with commercial or/and marketing appetency
