JOB DESCRIPTION
The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for the growing HBAS Portfolio. They will be responsible for building the brand and trade marketing strategy for the Irish & Northern Irish markets, drive top of mind awareness and win the shopper at the moment of choice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of Trade Marketing for brands within scope, liaising with key stakeholders within the wider Richmond organisation to implement the agreed plans.
- Drive best in class execution and evaluation of trade marketing plans including distribution, visibility, trade advocacy & ROS driving initiatives.
- Manage relationships and liaising with all brand principles and implement the global brand strategy in a locally relevant way in the Irish & Northern Irish markets.
- Be the brand guardian for the brands within scope, making sure all designs, principles, tone of voice and activations are a true brand fit and targeting the right audiences.
- Manage the brand budgets and delivery of all activity within the agreed budget while achieving volume targets.
- Compile insightful monthly & quarterly sales & trade marketing reports, outlining progress Vs brand KPIs and Rate of Sale
- Brief in quarterly objectives to trade teams to ensure delivery of brand KPIs. Track and monitor KPIs and create assets to assist with KPI execution.
- Co-ordinate training of trade teams in display, tastings and product information, where necessary.
- Creation & Management of POS, visibility tools, trade listings and consumer activations in trade
- Where necessary, successful management of trade and consumer led events, overseeing agency management.
- Any other duties and responsibilities appropriate for the role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- An understanding of the FMCG Industry desirable.
- 2 years trade marketing or related experience.
- Commercially astute with sound budget management experience.
- Analytical, strategic & ability to problem-solve.
- Passionate about consumer trends and building brands in the Irish marketplace.
- Strong communication & presentation skills.

Our business is divided into three areas: Sales, Marketing and Finance. It doesn't matter what team you are in or what level you are, we all work together to get the job done..
We have about 70 people in our sales team. They are responsible for all our customers, from the major supermarkets and cash and carries to pubs, restaurants and nightclubs. They are supported by national account managers who help the sales team deliver their business objectives whilst helping the major retailers deliver theirs.
In Marketing we have over 20 people. We have Marketing Managers, Brand Managers, Trade Marketing Managers and staff to support them and help make things happen.
Our Finance area has 30 people. Not just the accountants but also our administrators, Customer Service team, Logistics team and IT support team.
