Trade Marketing Intern

We are looking for a Customer Marketing Intern to join our Romania Customer Marketing Team and support the execution of customer marketing programs across some of SC Johnson’s most loved brands, including Glade®, Duck®, Mr Muscle®, Pronto®, Kiwi®, Autan® and Raid®. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how customer marketing connects brand strategy, shopper insights, sales execution and business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This internship is designed as a hands-on learning experience.
You do not need to be an expert already. We are looking for someone smart, curious, structured and quick to learn, with the motivation to contribute while building practical experience. You will work closely with local Sales and Category Management teams and collaborate with the Regional Marketing team based in Switzerland.
Through this experience, you will learn how shopper insights, brand plans, customer priorities and business data come together to bring FMCG brands to life in-store, online and across digital channels. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, work on real business activities and gain practical exposure to how Customer Marketing works inside an international FMCG company.
You will support the team in understanding business performance by:
- Updating market share tracking reports.
- Helping prepare reports, dashboards and newsletters.
- Collecting market data, consumer research and internal sales information.
- Summarizing key insights and learnings with guidance from the team.
You will support best-in-class execution by:
- Supporting customer presentations and sales meeting materials.
- Collecting information on customer priorities, shopper trends and competitor activities.
- Helping prepare materials for offline and online customers.
- Supporting bespoke cross-category in-store activation plans, working closely with brand managers and the sales organization
- Providing marketing assets for e-commerce and supporting content updates.
You will contribute to cross-functional projects by:
- Supporting Brand Managers with new product launch materials, preparation of assets for e-commerce, helping to grow that emerging channel with innovative solutions and ideas
- Helping with logistics data, artwork approvals and translations.
- Coordinating small project tasks.
Experience you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s student, recent graduate or soon-to-graduate candidate in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or a similar field.
- Interest in FMCG, Customer Marketing, Sales, Brand Marketing, Digital or E-commerce.
- Fluency in Romanian and English.
- Good analytical skills and confidence working with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Legal eligibility to work in Romania.
