Job Description:

Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company, creating exceptional play experiences through it’s three creative centres: Toys, Entertainment and Digital Games. With distribution in over 100 countries, Spin Master is best known for award-winning brands PAW Patrol®, Bakugan®, Kinetic Sand®, Air Hogs®, Hatchimals®, Rubik’s Cube® and GUND®, and is the global toy licensee for other popular properties.

What will you work on?
The Trade Marketing Coordinator is responsible for all the trade-marketing activities making sure Spin Master will always improve and be high performer in retail execution. Trade Marketing Coordinator makes sure that brands are well visible in stores and develops high level activities to push sell out.

How will you create impact?

  • Develop in store activities according to the brand strategy
  • Work with Key Accounts and Sales team to ensure that brands are set up and displayed with appropriate branding, photography, content and copy. Develop a strategy to improve Spin Master’s branded presence on-line. Deliver higher visibility branded areas, jump pages and richer media content
  • Develop sales materials (catalogues), creation and development of brand specific artwork for retailer catalogues
  • Develop trade-marketing materials.
  • Support the sales team in implementing customers’ showroom
  • Scout new ideas at retail looking at the competition and outside the toys market
  • Develop retail plans based on business goals
  • Coordinate the merchandising people force
  • Develop and coordinate in store promotions working closely with external agencies
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-out
  • Work closely with the customer service and logistic department to assist them in the FSDU process execution
  • Coordinate the Spin Master showroom
  • Find always new ways to engage consumers in store and convert into purchases
  • Visual merchandising, working closely with Brand Marketing, Sales and Operations

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Demonstrate ability of working with cross functional teams (Brand, Sales, Planning/Operations) to coordinate and deliver projects
  • Creative mind set in combination with a hands-on attitude
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work without missing critical deadlines
  • Ability to both adapt to and manage changing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational communication skills, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while taking initiative and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines
  • A strong level of passion and willingness to be awesome

What are your skills and experience?

  • University/ College Degree
  • Minimum 1 year of experience within Trade Marketing & Retail, preferably in the kids/toys industry
  • Experience with the Italy toy trade
  • Experience in an international working environment so the person knows what it takes to deal with international marketing teams and a headquarter abroad
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
