As a Trade Lifecycle Manager II within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in trade lifecycle management will be crucial in ensuring all trades are processed on respective platforms, and in coordinating cash movements in and out of client accounts. You will be expected to apply your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for varied and complex issues, while ensuring compliance with technical standards and organizational policies. Your role will involve liaising with multiple departments, managing projects, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives. You will also be responsible for establishing productive relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting to senior management, and managing change effectively. Your ability to influence, coupled with your market product knowledge and data & tech literacy, will be key to your success in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Partner with Lines of Business to understand business requirements, root causes, operational challenges, regulatory obligations, and strategic objectives.
- Lead reconciliation scoping, onboarding, market expansion, product expansion, and service enhancement initiatives.
- Act as the central coordination point between Operations, Technology, Pre-Recon, Data Analytics, and Business stakeholders.
- Maintain centralized tracking of business commitments, enhancement requests, operational issues, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive regular governance forums and provide executive-level reporting and updates to senior management.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones with appropriate stakeholder communications.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, Audit, Compliance, and Business teams.
- Prepare high-quality management presentations, strategy documents, business updates, and executive communications.
- Drive continuous improvement programs focused on efficiency, scalability, standardization, and operational excellence.
- Graduate with 12 years of experience in a financial services institution.
- Strong working knowledge of Cash and Securities Reconciliations, managing programs, projects, onboarding initiatives, or transformation activities.
- Experience working across Operations and Technology organizations.
- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, governance, and stakeholder management.
- Deep understanding of reconciliation processes and operating models.
- Content writing and storytelling capabilities for senior management audiences.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and banking products.
- Knowledge of New age tools (LLM, CoPilot, Alteryx, UiPath, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other automation technologies.)
