Job Summary:
As the Trade Lifecycle Associate in our broker facing team, you will ensure to enhance client experience and to improve custody settlement rate by proactively pre-matching trades for custody clients.
Demonstrating strategic thought leadership, as well as delivery of best practices, you will leverage your deep understanding of custody business and strong analytical acumen to make informed decisions that deliver to each of our businesses. Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing daily BAU and operational risk of custody trades - processing, pre-matching, settlement & trade related functions.
  • Managing all Exceptions and handholding to closure; ensure all intra-day report creation and monitoring as part of BAU
  • Processes research/investigations on appropriate systems to operations
  • Understands how products can solve customer problems
  • Create strong resiliency & backups within the team.
  • Ensure all queries are dealt within required SLAs and escalate issues, perform EOD process to ensure all deliverables were met timely and accurately and that exceptions are appropriately noted.
  • Maintain the highest individual and team standards for quality assurance as it relates to all investor or fund activity / changes; ensure team is 'Always Audit Ready'


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years in Financial Services industry. Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction / trade lifecycle in Custody
  • Subject matter expertise in Equities, Fixed Income, FX (Crest and Euroclear market)
  • Ability to work closely with business partners and manage operational risk
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
  • Strategic thinking coupled with practical execution
  • Anticipate issues and drive initiatives to ensure results
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate strategic messages clearly and consistently with the team, making linkages to individual goals and accomplishments


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required (business discipline preferred)
  • Work experience on tools like Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, UiPath etc. - at least 1 BI tool
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Vision and Outlook Express (or similar email program)
