Finance Department
Location: France
Trade Finance Analyst plays key role in managing Trade Expenditures (TREX), especially calculation of TREX accruals as well as reconciling related Balance Sheet accounts in BlackLine. Analyst supports implementation of Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system as well as maintenance of the system as Key User. Ensures the consistency of national and international agreements in the P&L brands and their follow-up.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Performing daily activities in France Market which includes:
Calculation of TREX accruals in close cooperation with KAMs (Key Accounts Managers).
Reconciliation of selected Balance Sheet Accounts in BlackLine.
Supporting implementation and maintenance of TPM system as Key User.
Verification of Trade payments.
Verification of invoices and providing instructions to process subsequent credit notes.
Setting up and managing price list and promotions.
Analyzing and negotiating resolution of rebate audit queries received from retailers
partnering with sales and finance teams in query resolution and deductions management.
Ensuring all documents are timely approved.
Responsible for the good governance of the trade budget and audits.
Performing reconciliation between finance systems.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Accounting or related fields.
5+ years of professional experience in a similar position for a FMCG multinational company in accounting & finance.
Work experience in Order to Cash / TREX, especially connected with customer’s rebates, sales support or order management.
Advanced Excel skills.
Ability to be exposed to finance senior management.
Expertise in managing internal/external audit requests.
Strong focus on process ownership, problem solving and collaboration.
Fluent English and French is a must.
