Job Description

A Trade Compliance Planner is an individual contributor within the supply chain organization who ensures compliance and internal policies and procedures to all applicable customs regulations when the company transacts products, services and technology across borders, in or through bonded warehouses and free/foreign trade zones. Able to instruct, audit and verify how information related to those transactions is processed, archived and reported to relevant governments and internally. Ensures legal compliance and provides logistics administration and control within government and corporate rules and regulations. Contributes to the practices of minimizing costs and productivity.You will report to Trade compliance leader.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Attends classification differences and works with appropriate contacts to prevent delays in brokerage process.
  • Works cross-functionally to coordinate, supervise and maintain certification requirements.
  • Ensures policies and procedures meet supply chain secutiry program's standards.
  • Analyze and implements special regimes required by operations (FTZ, temporary imports).
  • Conducts internal audits and parterns with third party consultants to assess internal procedures.
  • Measures timing and service levels of customs brokers with standard metrics and KPI's.
  • Performs site audits and end-to-end assessments of import and export process.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor Degree in International Commerce or any Economical Sciences.
  • 3 Years of Experience in Foreign Trade
  • English (60%)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Knowledge in Custom Trade Law
  • SAP knowledge
  • INMEX knowledge
  • Tax certification
  • IEPS
  • OEA-CTPAT
