The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Issuance and maintenance of long-term declarations, preference statements, and certifications.
• Performing preferential and non-preferential origin determination, including master data management.
• Becoming the main solicitation point of contact for Supply Chain and business partners.
• Manage productivity and financial recovery metrics.
• Conduct periodic duty optimization reviews.
• Owning the upkeep and ongoing development of Global Trade procedures and standard documentation.
• Executing internal audits, identify areas of risk, and support responses to government inquiries as needed.

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED from AND 5 years of professional experience in similar roles.

OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or International Business AND 3 years of related job-experience.
• Advanced English C1
• Strong analytical skills. Ability to manage different systems, various data sources and trade-relevant information. Experience with SAP GTS is highly desirable.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Strong understanding of rules of origin (preferential and non-preferential), classification, and concepts such as “sufficient processing”.
• Ability to research information, find areas of opportunity, and contribute actively to duty optimization strategies.
• Experience working cross-functionally across different geographies, functions, and systems of record.
• Excellent communication skills, relationship-builder, and customer-oriented mindset.

  Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Heredia, Belén at least 1 days per week)
