About the Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Trade Category Lead (TCL) to join our Benelux Business Unit, based in Amsterdam. In this role, you'll work alongside a team of ambitious, performance-driven professionals. As TCL, you are responsible for setting and implementing the optimal category management strategy for Drinks. Reporting directly to the Commercial Category Lead, you'll collaborate closely with senior team members across the Business Unit.
You'll be the driving force behind the commercial strategy for your category, leveraging market, shopper, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and enhance category performance. Acting as an objective, strategic partner for our retailers and internal teams-including marketing, sales, finance, and procurement-you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business growth and customer success.
In brief, you take ownership of;

  • Driving category growth for Kraft Heinz within the Drinks segment by defining impactful commercial strategies and executing channel-specific price and packaging differentiation.
  • Analyzing market, shopper, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and guide data-driven decision-making across the category.
  • Acting as a trusted partner and category expert, providing strategic guidance to retailers and internal stakeholders to support mutual success.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and CDM to build and execute commercial plans for NPD, setting cost, margin, and distribution targets by customer and channel.
  • Partnering with Sales, Finance, and Supply teams to build accurate forecasts that incorporate customer segmentation insights, sell-out and sell-in data, and market stock levels.
  • Coaching and developing category team capabilities to ensure expertise and a strong impact across the business.


Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
Hard Skills

  • Minimal bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in Dutch and English
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in consulting, business analyses, sales, marketing, category, trade marketing or similar roles
  • Experience within the FMCG industry is a plus
