We're looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to join one of our dynamic entry-level Trade Assistant positions. In this role, you'll collaborate with our seasoned team of Engineers, engaging in a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure the safety and efficiency of our aircraft maintenance operations.
Reporting to our Crew Supervisors, responsibilities for this role will include:
- Support our skilled Engineers with daily duties to enable them to efficiently maintain our aircraft GSE and Tooling support
- Cleaning duties to ensure our team is working in a clean and safe environment at all times
- Creating and supporting our team with clear communications and efficient yet prompt completion of tasks
- Running errands
- Assist to ensure the Port remains compliant at all times, manage and complete the daily task compliance sheet in the Port.
- This is a fantastic opportunity for those wanting to experience aviation engineering as a potential career path or for those who would like to work in an exciting industry without pursuing a formal education.
We are on the hunt for someone who has experience and attributes including:
- Current Drivers Licence (essential)
- Prior experience in a workshop / production / mechanical environment in a similar field (advantageous)
- Willingness to work in a shift work environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within in team
- Experience working in a role with minimum supervision
- Ability to interpret written procedures and be able to complete task paperwork
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Dependable and reliable
- Proficiency with basic computer systems
- Highly motivated with a learning mindset
- Able to hold an Airside security pass (ASIC) and Airside drivers license.
