Senior Manager Trade Operations

In this role, you oversee and optimize distribution and order fulfillment operations across the UK, Italy, and Germany. A Typical Day:

• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve escalations and maintain seamless distribution operations.

• Oversee 3PL activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

• Monitor and analyze key distribution metrics, including delivery timelines, inventory levels, and vendor performance.

• Conduct vendor performance reviews, produce actionable quarterly reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage distribution budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery.

• Rectify data anomalies using internal dashboards and systems, ensuring accurate reporting and integration.

• Collaborate with Trade, Legal, and other teams to support contract development and compliance.

• Develop and implement policies to enhance distribution strategies and optimize workflows.

• Ensure adherence to trade regulations, GDP standards, and other distribution-related requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and align operations with organizational objectives.

To Be Considered, You Have:

• A Bachelor’s degree

• At least 8+ years of experience in supply chain and distribution, with 5+ years in pharmaceutical supply chain and distribution

• Extensive knowledge of GDP regulations and pharmaceutical transactions from manufacturers to the market in the EU; experience in other global markets is preferred

• Proven expertise in 3PL operations, particularly in order-to-cash activities

• Experience with contract and rebate processing in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles as they apply to supply chain and distribution

• Proficiency in German and English languages

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in global markets beyond the EU

• Recognized expertise in the supply chain field, providing guidance and insights to stakeholders
