Key Duties and Responsibilities
Job Scope and Context
- Individual Job
- Based on the road, with travel to regional locations

- Planning and problem-solving skills required

Products and POS attractively presented to capture the interest of the target market
Merchandise the product
- Stock is rotated according to FIFO principles
- Shelf and floor space opportunities negotiated to ensure optimum positioning of the product
- Shelf and floor space key account agreements implemented
- Shelf positioning vs. competitive set (CATMAN) implemented according to guidelines
- Competitor and incorrect pricing fed back to trade execution manager or sales manager
- Point of sale materials set up
- Displays set up according to company standards
- Displays are clean, neat and fully stocked
- Calls and displays recorded on standard daily working sheets
- Display list/Task List of allocated area updated and handed in by agreed deadline
- Feedback on POS and opposition brands provided weekly according to agreed deadlines
- Ad hoc reports on events, merchandising, displays and shelf management submitted on time according to agreed format
Implement promotions
- Point of sale arranged and delivered on time
- Promotions merchandised as per brand guidelines
- Promotional cycles implemented in full and on time
- Set up and break down of events and promotions
- Promotional feedback and monthly presentations
Manage POS Material
- • POS booked out and returned in a good condition according to agreed process
- • POS material stored and transported carefully and appropriately
Productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders maintain
Liaise with sales representatives and sales managers
- Stock available
- Pricing is correct
- POS materials used correctly
- Correct display at the agreed time
Liaise with POS warehouse
- POS booked out and returned in a good condition according to agreed process
Build relationships with customers
- Customer queries and problems resolved effectively
