      Are you a technically skilled project engineer who thrives under pressure and wants to do it at some of the most exciting venues in the world? This is your chance to join one of Formula 1's most iconic teams and play a central role in delivering the technology that powers us at the track.

      The role

      As Trackside Technology Projects Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end planning, coordination and hands-on delivery of IT and technology projects that support our trackside operations. From pre-race build and validation through to race weekend support, you will ensure our infrastructure, systems and services are robust, reliable and race-ready.

      You will attend global race events as part of the trackside team, working closely with engineering, software, data and infrastructure colleagues to guarantee seamless technology integration in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

      What you'll be doing

      • Leading the delivery of trackside technology projects from initiation through to handover
      • Coordinating the deployment of new and reworked IT systems and services at circuits
      • Managing technical infrastructure including virtualisation, networking, storage and voice/video systems
      • Driving automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives to improve deployment capabilities
      • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and align solutions to race objectives
      • Providing technical leadership during the build and validation of new trackside platforms
      • Maintaining accurate documentation and continuously improving delivery processes

      Qualifications

      What we're looking for

      Essential:

      • A proven track record delivering complex technical projects in high-pressure, event-driven environments, ideally in motorsport, broadcast or live events
      • Strong hands-on experience across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows and Linux server environments
      • Experience with virtualisation and container platforms such as VMware, Docker and Kubernetes
      • Working knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure
      • Networking expertise across routing, switching, firewalls and wireless technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, CATO)
      • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Power Automate
      • Experience with monitoring and telemetry systems and VoIP/video conferencing solutions
      • Excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to work autonomously under pressure
      • Flexibility for extensive global travel and non-standard working hours

      Desirable:

      • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
      • Hands-on experience in motorsport, live broadcast or performance-critical technology deployments
