We’re now recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our DC team in Armitage. The successful applicant will be joining the existing team to control Quality standards. To support the Quality Manager and TQM team in the inspection, investigation and processing of all UK Products ensuring they meet specification and requirements.

There is also opportunity to have days out around the UK supporting and working alongside our External Quality Technician when needed.
Key responsibilities of a Senior Quality Engineer include:
- Random product inspection within the DC
- Inbound inspection of new product deliveries
- Processing customer returns
- Special select process for customer orders
- Assist in investigation & quarantine/rejection of stock received into UK1B
- Liaison with other TQM Quality teams across Europe, Cross Category Quality Leaders, and Research & Development departments to overcome any problems related to the finished product
- Review and implement quality improvement plans
An experienced operative within the manufacturing industry would be preferred, though training would be provided to suitable candidates. The more exposure you’ve had to inspection and QA, the better. The job holder must have good written and verbal communication skills (English language skills).

- Manufacturing product knowledge, for example Ceramics, Acrylics etc
- Measurement and testing techniques
- Analytical Reasoning
- Specific Skills:-
- Auditing
- Quality standards and norms.
- Practical with basic understanding of engineering
- Basic PC skills (Emails, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Behavioural Skills:-
- Team work.
- Effective communication. Ability to summarise clearly and succinctly
- Analyse data from a variety of written and verbal sources
