Summary:
Create a welcoming, safe environment for infants and toddlers while at Faith Church. Ensure that all policies, procedures, safety measures, and curriculum are being carried out on a weekly basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly curriculum and supplies for babies and toddlers
- Purchase supplies as needed for curriculum and classrooms
- Contact families weekly
- Recruit, manage, train and schedule a team of volunteers for weekly services and special events ensuring that policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Host team building activities for volunteers once per quarter

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment (routinely uses standard office equipment)
Physical Demands
Office time is mostly a sedentary role (stationary at desk and working on a computer); during services and events, must have high energy for multiple hour segments.
Schedule
This is a part-time position approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule that can be arranged around the candidate’s availability.
- Sunday: Required for weekly services.
- Tuesday & Saturday: Alternating evening service coverage is required.
- Office Hours: Remaining hours will be scheduled flexibly throughout the week based on the needs of the Tots team and the candidate’s availability.
- Some flexibility is expected to support special events, meetings, and program needs.
Travel
Campus to campus local travel will be expected for this position.
Education & Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children, families, volunteers, or in a ministry setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
- A heart for serving children and families and a desire to help create a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment.
- Ability to work independently while also serving as a supportive member of the Tots team.
- Ability to work required Sunday services and alternating Tuesday and Saturday evening services.
Preferred:
- College coursework or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Ministry, or a related field.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or kindergarten-aged children.
- Experience coordinating volunteers, schedules, events, or children’s programs.
- Previous experience serving in a church children’s ministry or other faith-based environment.
- Familiarity with childcare safety practices, policies, and procedures.
