Job Purpose                                       

The Product Owner – Total Rewards & Payroll Systems will play a key role in ensuring the business transformation program objectives are realized on time and on budget by ensuring stakeholder adoption and usage. This position will sustain and optimize the HCM compensation and benefits modules, functionality and processes as well as the associated payroll systems. It is the functional interface between stakeholders and the technical team to find efficient and cost-effective digital solutions that enable business outcomes, align to company’s policies, and meet compliance requirements. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Acting as the functional product SME for sustaining and optimizing Oracle HCM Cloud modules that touch the compensation, benefits and related payroll systems. 

  • Leading stakeholders and technical team members to solve business requirements and challenges through innovative digital solutions. 

  • Proactively recommending innovative ways to continuously enhance and optimize  digital processes and user experience to achieve the expected outcomes of stakeholders. 

  • Communicating technical concepts in a way that is understandable to stakeholders and influences their adoption of the best digital practices. 

  • Leading project teams of stakeholders and technical resources to implement annual rewards cycles and other digital solutions.  

  • Building and implementing the strategic technology roadmap for compensation, benefits and payroll. 

  • Developing and maintaining knowledge articles and training for HR system related annual cycles, relevant functionality and processes.  

  • Partnering with our larger shared services team to deliver clear automated digital processes and ensure system-enabled data integrity.  

  • Supporting routine system and HR audit activities.  

  • Managing ongoing Oracle release regression planning, testing, and improvements for assigned modules. 

 

 

REQUIRED  

 

   Minimum Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Experience/ (Key Competencies) 

 

  • Any Graduate with minimum of 6 years of experience in the total rewards function and/or compensation, benefits and/or payroll systems. 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a functional product lead in Oracle Fusion HCM and TMS suite of products.

  • Ability to partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to understand business objective and expected outcome and define requirements. 

  • Previous strong hands-on implementation experience of Oracle HCM Fusion Applications, at least 1 full cycles of successful implementations in a lead role. 

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES 

  • Oracle HCM Cloud experience in compensation and benefits. 

  • Oracle Certification on Oracle Cloud HCM, and related modules. 

  • Experience with the administration of HCM to integrated payroll systems. 

  • Knowledge of Kahuna for competence management. 

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud through a full lifecycle project. 

  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio 

  • Design thinking capability. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and act as a project manager when needed. 

  • Business functional expertise and knowledge of talent development, learning and competence. 

  • Excellent executive communication skills (verbal/written) including preparation and delivery 

  • Strong collaboration across a matrixed organization. 

  • Proficiency at grasping and leveraging new technical concepts quickly. 

  • Ability to work under minimum supervision. 

Skills Required

  • Minimum 6 years in total rewards function
  • 3 years as functional product lead in Oracle Fusion HCM
  • Strong hands-on implementation experience of Oracle HCM
