We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer with an active Top Secret security clearance to join our team. As a Senior IT Systems Engineer at True Zero, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the technology infrastructure that underpins our clients' operations. This includes network infrastructure, physical servers, and host systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions to meet client requirements.
- Configure and maintain physical servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Deploy and manage host systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technology needs and provide solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network, server, and host systems for performance and security.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer, with a focus on network infrastructure, physical servers, and host systems.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture and design.
- Experience with server hardware, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP) preferred.
