We are actively seeking a Prepper-Polisher in our Paint Department, reporting to the Manager of Paint Operations.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Eligible for overtime. We offer comprehensive group health plans including Medical, Dental, Vision, and other supplementary plans. We also offer a competitive 401k Retirement Plan.
- Able to understand manufacture mixing instructions
- Understand the parts and functions of a spray gun
- Use of gravity feed spray gun
- Color match and blend when required
- Repair (minor) dents
- Spray polyurethane basecoat/pearls
- Use of pressure feed gun with 2 quart pressure pot
- Able to properly setup 2 quart pressure pot for spraying
- Setup fluid delivery, check paint temp, proper spraying technique
Available for both 1st and 2nd shift. 2nd shift has 8% shift differential additional to the base pay rate.
Qualifications- 3 years experience in aircraft or paint shop
- Full compliance with the Company’s DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
