Job Description
The Control Management Tooling Transformation team is seeking a Vice President Product Manager to lead a team of Product Owners toward the future of the Control Management technology ecosystem. We are looking for someone who has a penchant for effective communication and critical thinking, with a strategic, analytical, and energetic personality. As a Tooling Transformation Product Manager within the Controls Room Organization, you will be instrumental in transforming the Control Management Organization by driving key elements of change through innovative technology, frameworks, and processes. Your role in supporting the product team will involve collaborating with various Control Management application Product Owners, business and function representatives, and our technology partners. Through these partnerships you will influence change of applications across the Control Management organization and oversee development of new applications and capabilities to drive toward our tooling transformation roadmap. Job Responsibilities
- Lead a team of cross functional Product Owners through the product development of a new application and enhanced capabilities within existing applications to evolve the Control Managers technology experience
- Manage relationships with Line of Business and Function Leads and key stakeholders to build out and maintain long-term roadmaps
- Monitor progress of roadmap deliverables to escalate risks and concerns
- Partner with Technology Leads and Product Owners to drive modernization efforts and deliver solutions aligned with the tooling transformation roadmap in a timely manner
- Provide subject matter expertise and impact analysis for projects driven by the Control Management organization to influence the end to end implementation across the Controls Room teams
- Manage and participate in multiple project workstreams concurrently to proactively enhance project outcomes, identify effective solutions, and mitigate issues
- Present roadmaps, technology solutions, and status updates on various forums with senior stakeholders
- Translate higher level strategy and requirements from internal stakeholders into actionable tasks for the Product Owners and Agile development teams
- Partner with the Project Management team to ensure the Product's progress is reported accurately on status reports
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Quantitative background (BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering) with 6+ years of experience working with technology partners to develop products
- 2+ years managing a team of direct reports
- Advanced experience translating user requests to technology requirements using agile management tools like JIRA
- Prior application of the agile methodology for product development
- Experience project managing and delegating small to large scale projects
- Experience working with internal control and risk management
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of functional groups at various levels
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility/accountability
- Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
- Effective time management and multitasking skills
