Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Tooling Processor to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall completion of important and complex engineering tasks and projects
- Support major and minor engineering projects within a specified area of administrative and technical guidance to a group of employees
- Develop product sequence sheets (flow charts)
- Maintain and/or create time studies (operator and machine)
- Process with ergonomics in mind for operator stations
- Coordinate needed support resources to achieve project objectives
- Timing and Weld Documentation
- Assure necessary coordination between supporting design groups, regulatory functions and internal activities on a regular basis
- Prepare general specifications
- Support, coordinate, and execute all quality initiatives
- Meet all customer requirements, specifications, and requests
- Suggest and support all continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of relevant experience
- Siemens UG / NX Skills – navigation and observation
- Light or heavy automotive body in white (BIW) engineering experience
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
- Strong written and face-to-face communication skills in large and small teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Siemens Process Designer / eM-Planner
- GM standard deliverables (STDS, WESS, SPD, XRWD’s)
- Peripheral automotive BIW departments and their deliverables
