Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Tooling architect (m/f) to join our Avionics Software department based in Toulouse.
This department serves as a key internal provider for avionics equipment and flight simulators.
Our engineers are responsible for the end-to-end design, development, production, and support of safety-critical embedded products including flight controls, flight warning systems, communication, and maintenance equipment for the entire Airbus aircraft fleet.
In this strategic role, you will be at the heart of our Software Factory, ensuring our developers have the most efficient and certified tools to build the future of flight.

Your challenges:
Develop and maintain avionics production systems under strict certification constraints (DO178, DAL A to D, DO330).
Design qualified methods and tools for the software factory, covering the entire lifecycle from specification to verification.
Transform complex development team needs into technical requirements and shared, reusable software solutions.
Drive the development, qualification, and deployment of critical tools to optimize software factory performance.
Automate key software development phases to increase industrial efficiency and shorten production cycles.
Ensure expert support and user training to guarantee optimal adoption of deployed solutions.
Lead subcontracting activities to secure the delivery of technological components within project milestones.
Evolve within an agile and dynamic organization to drive innovation at the heart of avionics software products.
Your boarding pass:
Proven expertise in software architecture and engineering applied to complex systems.
Mastery of critical aeronautical certification standards (DO178, DO330, or equivalent).
Advanced proficiency in key programming languages including ADA, C/C++, and PYTHON.
Solid technical command of LINUX and Windows operating environments.
Experience in real-time embedded software development and V-cycle processes.
Mastery of DevOps tools and continuous integration pipelines (GIT, Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory).
Familiarity with cutting-edge software modeling methods and tools.
Awareness of intellectual property issues and export control regulations.
Advanced fluency in both English and French is mandatory for this international environment.
